Crushing equipment is a mechanical device used for crushing minerals.
The crushing operation is often divided into coarse crushing, medium crushing, and fine crushing according to the particle size of feeding and discharging. The commonly used sand and gravel equipment includes jaw crushers, impact crushers, composite crushers, single stage hammer crushers, vertical crushers, rotary crushers, cone crushers, roller crushers, double roll crushers, two in one crushers, and one-time molding crushers.
It is generally divided into six categories based on the crushing method and mechanical structural characteristics (action principles).
(1) E type crusher (tiger mouth). The crushing effect is achieved by periodically pressing the movable jaw towards the fixed jaw, crushing the ore blocks sandwiched within it.
(2) Cone crusher. The ore block is located between the inner and outer cones, with the outer cone fixed and the inner cone swinging eccentrically to crush or break the ore block sandwiched between them.
(3) Roller crusher. The ore block is mainly subjected to continuous crushing in the gap between two rotating circular rollers, but also has a grinding and stripping effect, and the toothed roller surface also has a splitting effect.
(4) Impact crusher. The ore block is shattered by the impact of rapidly rotating moving parts. Belonging to this category can be further divided into: hammer crusher; Cage crusher; Counterattack crusher.
(5) Grinding machine. The ore is crushed by the impact and grinding action of the grinding medium (steel ball, steel rod, gravel or ore block) inside the rotating cylinder.
(6) Other types of crushing and grinding machines.
