Daily inspection
Visual inspection: Before starting the locomotive, a visual inspection should be conducted. Thoroughly inspect the surrounding environment and bottom of the locomotive in the following order:
1. Is there any oil, fuel, or coolant leakage.
2. Are there any loose bolts and nuts.
3. Are there any broken wires, short circuits, or loose battery connections in the electrical circuit.
4. Is there any oil stains.
5. Is there any accumulation of civilian property.
Daily maintenance precautions
Daily inspection work is an important link to ensure that hydraulic excavators can maintain efficient operation for a long time, especially for individual businesses. Doing a good job in daily inspection work can effectively reduce maintenance costs.
Firstly, rotate the machine twice to check the appearance and chassis for any abnormalities, as well as whether there is any oil leakage from the slewing bearing. Then, check the deceleration braking device and the bolt fasteners of the track. Tighten the bolts that need to be tightened and replace them in a timely manner. If it is a wheeled excavator, check the tires for abnormalities and the stability of the air pressure.
Check if there is significant wear on the excavator bucket teeth. It is understood that the wear on the bucket teeth will significantly increase the resistance during the construction process, seriously affecting work efficiency and increasing the wear of equipment components.
Check for cracks or oil leakage in the stick and oil cylinder. Check the battery electrolyte to avoid being below the low level line.
The air filter is an important component to prevent a large amount of dusty air from entering the excavator and should be checked and cleaned regularly.
Regularly check whether fuel, lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, etc. need to be added, and it is best to choose the oil according to the instructions and keep it clean.
Post start inspection
1. Check if the horn and all instruments are in good condition.
2. The starting status, noise, and exhaust color of the engine.
3. Is there any oil, fuel, or coolant leakage.
Management of fuel
Different grades of diesel should be selected according to different environmental temperatures; Diesel fuel should not be mixed with impurities, ash, soil, and water, otherwise it will cause premature wear of the fuel pump; The high content of paraffin and sulfur in inferior fuel can cause damage to the engine; After completing daily homework, the fuel tank should be filled with fuel to prevent water droplets from forming on the inner wall of the fuel tank; Open the drain valve at the bottom of the fuel tank to drain water before daily homework; After the engine runs out of fuel or the filter element is replaced, the air in the pipeline must be drained.
